Our Story

15 Years Helping People Choose Coverage Confidently

We're an independent agency — not tied to any one carrier — so our advisors recommend what actually fits your life, your family, and your business.

💚 Our Story

We started Launch Coverage because nobody teaches you this stuff in school.

Our founder turned 26 and got an email from his parent's insurance: "your coverage ends in 30 days." No explanation of what to do next. No mention that he was eligible for subsidies. Just a deadline.

He spent two weekends on government websites, comparing plans nobody had explained to him, and ended up paying way too much for coverage he barely understood. The next year he was diagnosed with appendicitis on a Tuesday and the hospital sent him a bill for $11,400 because his plan had a $7,500 deductible he didn't know about.

That's why Launch Coverage exists. We're insurance built for the moment you're handed adulthood with no instructions — your first job, your first apartment, your first plan. We translate it. We do the math. We stay your person.

What makes us different

We only do students & new grads
Most insurance agencies juggle families, retirees, and small businesses. We focus on one thing — the post-school transition — and got really good at it.
Affordability comes first
We start with your budget, then find coverage that fits. Most of our clients enroll for $0–$50 per month after subsidies.
Plain English. No jargon.
If we use a word like 'coinsurance' without explaining it, we owe you a coffee. Insurance is confusing on purpose — we translate.
A real human, every time
You get one licensed advisor — same person for every question, every year. Not a chatbot. Not a call-center queue. Text them. Call them.
🛡️ Our Mission

Make quality health, dental, and vision coverage actually understandable and affordable for the generation aging into adulthood — for free.

What we live by

Transparency
We tell you exactly what's covered, what isn't, and what it really costs. No fine-print surprises.
Independence
We're paid the same no matter which plan you pick — so we pick what's actually best for you.
Accessibility
Coverage should be affordable for someone with a part-time job. We hunt down every subsidy you qualify for.
Longevity
We want to be your insurance person for the next decade — through job changes, moves, and life stuff.
💚 Why Launch Coverage

We work for you,
not the insurance company.

We're independent. We get paid the same no matter which plan you pick — so we pick the one that's right for you.

Affordable-first, always

We start every search with your budget. Most of our student clients enroll for $0–$50/month after subsidies.

We pull every subsidy you qualify for

Premium tax credits are based on YOUR income now — not your parents'. Most students leave hundreds on the table because nobody told them.

No jargon, ever

Deductible? Out-of-pocket max? Coinsurance? We translate insurance into plain English so you actually know what you're buying.

Mental health + telehealth included

Every plan we recommend covers therapy and lets you see a doctor from your phone. Because of course it does.

A real human, not a chatbot

You get a dedicated licensed advisor — same person for every question, every year. Email us anytime. We answer.

💬 Real students

From "I have no idea what I'm doing"
to "I'm covered."

Stories from actual students, new grads, and young adults we've helped this year.

I turned 26 and panicked. My agent found me a Silver plan that costs $42/month after subsidy — way less than COBRA. Mental health is fully covered too, which was the whole reason I needed coverage.

Priya S.Recent grad, NYU '24

Honestly didn't know subsidies existed for students. I was about to skip insurance entirely. Now I pay $0/month and have actual dental coverage for the first time in years.

Marcus J.Junior, UT Austin

Quit my job to take a gap year and travel. They set me up with a flexible plan in a single call. No judgment, no pressure. Best 15 minutes I've ever spent on email.

Sofia R.Gap year, Portland OR

My first job is at a startup with zero benefits. They walked me through what my income meant for subsidies and got me into a plan with my therapist in-network. Lifesaver.

Tyler K.Recent grad, first job

I just needed dental — my wisdom teeth situation was getting serious. $19/month and I had my extraction covered in 6 weeks. Easiest thing I've ever bought online.

Amara O.Senior, Howard University

I'm a contact lens person and was paying full price for everything. Vision plan paid for itself in one visit. Plus I got new frames I actually like. Wild that this isn't more popular.
